About SCNE


The National Society Sons of Colonial New England is dedicated to the following goals:

  1. To collect and preserve records, documents, and relics pertaining to the history and genealogy of New England prior to July 4, 1776;
  2. To prepare and distribute publications of all kinds relating to the history and genealogy of New England prior to July 4, 1776;
  3. To commemorate and celebrate events in the history of New England prior to July 4, 1776;
  4. To study the meanings of our colonial New England heritage as related to the problems of our day;
  5. To inculcate patriotism;
  6. To engage in other related educational, historical, genealogical, patriotic, literary, and social activities related to colonial New England.

The Society has provided financial support in the past to other groups who share these goals, including:
